Congratulations to the Winners of the Office Depot Hurricane Preparedness Contest for Small Business in South Florida! Earlier this year, Office Depot asked small businesses how prepared they were for hurricane season. With the survey finding that 71 percent of small businesses do not have a disaster plan in place, Office Depot offered South Florida businesses the opportunity to win a hurricane preparedness makeover. Three South Florida businesses based in Florida’s Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties were deemed most in need of a hurricane preparedness makeover. As a result, each business received a $5,000 Office Depot gift card and a special on-site consultation with a business continuity expert. Those winning businesses are: Miami’s Creative Staffing, 4 Star Services of Ft. Lauderdale, and Senior Lifestyles Intelligent Talk Radio, Inc. of Jupiter.
